See vintage aircraft flying maneuvers accompanied by live music performed by a symphony orchestra, and fireworks display!

In England, The Flying Proms is a beloved tradition that showcases the beauty of vintage aircraft flying maneuvers accompanied by live music performed by a symphony orchestra. This show comes to the United States, courtesy of the Military Aviation Museum.

Symphonicity is the orchestral partner for the Flying Proms. Lead by music director and conductor David S. Kunkel, Symphonicity is a resident performing arts group at the Sandler Center for the Arts in Virginia Beach. The first half of the evening’s entertainment will feature music from movies and television featuring some of the museum’s rare aircraft in flight. The second half will feature the symphony playing patriotic music culminating with a fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks.
