Neptune Festival’s Symphony by the Sea Concert Series returns for its 11th season of free concerts with a schedule of delightful musical performances. All of the concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

•Virginia Beach Funk Fest Beach Party

•60th Annual East Coast Surfing Championships
Aug. 21-28
Experience the world’s longest, continuously run surfing championship! The 60th Annual Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships (ECSC) is a multifaceted beach sports and entertainment festival with plentiful attractions for the whole family.

•7th Annual Coastal Craft Beer Festival
Aug. 27
Celebrate and sample national, regional and local craft brews during the annual Coastal Craft Beer Festival, featuring more than 60 beers from 30 breweries, food trucks, live music and more.

• July 4th Celebration- Mount Trashmore – Enjoy live music by Vinyl Headlights beginning at 6 p.m. and fireworks beginning at 9:30 p.m at Mount Trashmore. Admission is free.
