Virginia Beach Dreams & Beams is a unique, multi-media show, created with the use of innovative projection technologies.
Using video and laser graphics on a projection sphere, flame towers, laser beams, and bubble machines, Virginia Beach Dreams & Beams delivers a “thank you” message to the United States Navy, and is part epic sea fantasy and celebration of everything Virginia Beach.
The sphere is an inflatable 55-foot projection surface. The show’s 180-degree video projections burst with color, sound, light, music, and emotion.

The 55th Anniversary of the East Coast Surfing Championships (otherwise known as Coastal Edge ECSC) is the second-oldest, continually run surfing championship in the WORLD located right here in Virginia Beach.The event hosts both amateurs and professionals in the United States Surfing Federation.
Today’s Coastal Edge ECSC is more than surfing – it has evolved into a multifaceted beach sports and entertainment festival that offers many visitor-friendly attractions. Other competitions held during the week include skimboarding, volleyball, a 5K run on the boardwalk, boxing and skateboarding. Just to add a little more to the sporting atmosphere, Adventure Park at Virginia Aquarium is installing a zip line right on the beach.
