Holiday Lights At Virginia Beach
November 23, 2017 to December 31

McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach brings the joy of the Christmas season to Virginia Beach each and every holiday season!

2017 brings a new experience to the boardwalk as Holiday Lights at the Beach presents The Enchanted Seaside Mile…a nautical and holiday fantasy of lights spread over a dozen blocks – from 8th Street to 22nd Street. more event details

Planes Trains and Santa
November 24 – 26

The Military Aviation Museum in conjunction with the Tidewater Division of the National Model Railroad Association is bringing its 8th model train show to Virginia Beach. From November 24th through the 26th, model train enthusiasts can head to the Military Aviation Museum on Princess Anne Road to see intricate layouts by Tidewater O Gauge Association, South Hampton Roads N-Trak Club, Tidewater S Gauge Association, Tidewater Modular Railroad Club, and Tidewater Live Steamers, among others. Santa Claus pops in for a visit at 11 a.m. on both days. The standard daily admission ticket prices for the museum apply: $15 for adults. Children 12 and under get in free!  more event info

36th Annual Virginia Beach Christmas Market
November 24 – 26

There is no better place to kick-off your holiday shopping than at the Virginia Beach Christmas Market. Black Friday marks the beginning of this Virginia Beach holiday tradition with more than 250 fine artisans and crafters from more than 25 states. From November 24th through the 26th work off that extra slice of pumpkin pie with a stroll around the Virginia Beach Convention Center to explore what has been called one of the “100 Best Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows in the United States.” Peruse unique holiday gifts and decor or even special pieces to add to your own collection. Photographers, potters, jewelers and toy makers are just a small sampling of the handmade artisans selling their uniquely crafted pieces. Admission is priced at $8 for adults and $2 for children ages 6-12 and is good for all three days. This year, receive $1 off by bringing a canned food donation to the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia. Admission is free with a donation of blood to the Red Cross. Find more details here.
